Set atop a plateau overlooking the Indian Ocean, this resort is on the southern tip of Jimbaran Peninsula, near the Temple of Uluwatu. Traditional architecture and contemporary design combine for a meditative setting; facilities include a spa center, large outdoor pool, and restaurants. The 59 freestanding villas, all with terraces and ocean views, include plunge pools, open-air pavilions, and antique Balinese art.
Scheduled to open in October 2006, this resort features a blend of traditional Balinese architecture and contemporary design. It is perched atop a plateau overlooking the Indian Ocean on the southern tip of the Jimbaran Peninsula, near the Temple of Uluwatu. The combination of indigenous stone, native wood finishes, and overall design creates an open and airy yet meditative setting. Two on-site stores, one selling Bulgari-brand items, are handy for gifts and souvenirs.

Recreation
The oceanfront spa’s main pavilion is an antique hand-carved joglo house from Java that was dismantled, relocated, and reassembled at the resort. The spa provides beauty and healing treatments, an outdoor pool, an open-air relaxation area, a yoga pavilion, hot and cold plunge pools, and two private spa suites with outdoor gardens. The resort also offers fitness equipment and a sandy, private beach.
