The Goa Gajah, Gianyar Regency

Goa Gajah Located in Beduli village, Blahbatuh Subdistrict of Gianyar Regency, it's about 26 km from Denpasar and very easy to reach. There is a lot of traditional home of handmade artshop. This cave surrounded by the ricefield and the beautiful Petanu River. This cave located in the middle of the road from Denpasar to Tampaksiring. Near the cave there is a lot of historical place such as Yeh Pulu, Samuan Tiga, Gedong Arca, Arjuna Bertapa, Kebo Edan, Pusering Jagat Temple. Penataran Sasih temple and the other.
But until this time there are no clear information about the history of the Goa Gajah cave. But for sure, this place is used by the Hindusm priest to cleaning their mind, if you enter the cave you will see a very strategic place to do Yoga or Semadhi. Outside the cave there are Ganeca Statue and Public Bathroom that still used until now.
